Dr. Paul C. Holmwood is a board-certified physician with nearly four decades of experience in clinical medicine, surgical care, physician education and medical leadership. He graduated summa cum laude in Biochemistry from Canisius College, earned his Doctor of Medicine with honors from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine, and completed postgraduate training at Millard Fillmore Hospital, the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Northwestern University.

Over his career Dr. Holmwood has led a clinical service and directed a physician residency program at the University at Buffalo, and served as a chief of service at a regional ambulatory surgery center. His approach has always centered on careful evaluation of the whole patient, evidence-based decision-making and prevention, including years of volunteer health screenings for seniors, recognized with the New York State Lions International Foundation Distinguished Service Award.
